Pass. Children and hipster tourists.

Pudge's FTW.

Children? Yes. Young families frequent the place during the day / early evening. Nice place to let the kids run around not bothering anyone and adults can enjoy a beverage(s). Later evening the crowd gets younger and rowdy. They now have to employ a police detail on weekend nights.

Hipster tourists? in Covington? I don't think so.

Pudge - was my first boss. Snowball stand on Jefferson Ave. And if you don't know Pudge … well then you're probably not welcome at the Pub .

I sympathize with the girl at the bar who has the "why the hell are you taking a picture?" look.

Funny to spot the fellow old school Cov people.

That’s exactly what I heard recently and was surprised because it seems so tame during the day.

Oh yeah. I prefer Tap Room these days though.

Like Abita and Gnarly Barley? lol

Apples/Oranges. Abita and Gnarley are much bigger operations. CBG is good for what it is.

Will it be insane on Saturday night?
A couple of my pals in Covington want us to go over there to watch the game.

I’m not comparing those places to CBG. He said hipster beers and I said like Abita and GB

Anyone keep up with their social media? Pretty cringey.

I live in the area and went a couple times when it opened.

I like the concept of having a patio to sit outside and have a few beers on a nice evening

But based on their recent social media, it has turned into a college type bar with loud 20 somethings. Videos from recent LSU games shows a bunch of clowns at a table full of strawberry Busch Lights jumping around like a bunch of Kansas City fig gots. Not my cup of tea

Now get off my lawn!
