Got to love journalism these days, NYPost headline that OP copied is just cherry picking words to make it seem like there's something happening out of the ordinary, when it's far from it
Yes, if MERS gets to COVID levels, we are all fricked. Just like if that asteroid hits the earth or the Yellowstone super volcano explodes. None of which have anything remotely to do with the fact that the sniffles are on the rise slightly

“The most frightening thing is if the virus was more deadly,” Anna Bershteyn, assistant professor in the Department of Population Health at NYU’s medical school, told The Post.
“That’s really scary,” Bershteyn added, “if a virus had the transmissibility of COVID and was as deadly as the MERS coronavirus,” referring to Middle East respiratory syndrome, a disease with a fatality rate of over 30%.
However, Dr. Ashwin Vasan, the NYC health commissioner, has said “the good news is that we’re not seeing anything in the virus that suggests it’s getting more transmissible or more lethal. What this really is, is just waning immunity … This is part of living with COVID and these fluctuations are to be expected.”

Idiots fell for images of ChiComs in hazmat suits picking up dead bodies off the streets of Wuhan. The normal Chinese Flu True Believers will be on here shilling for Pfizer in a minute.

My wife caught it a week ago after traveling to Seattle for work and it was terrifying. She had sniffles that me and my daughter didn't catch, we're so happy to have survived the whole ordeal.
**the only reason she even tested was because her mom brought over a test that was expiring or something so she took the test and it came out positive.

quote:This one was the real jewel. "Oh, I tested positive for Covid, but I have no symptoms."... THEN WHY THE HELL DID YOU EVEN TEST?
I wonder if no symptoms will be a symptom again

shut the polls down, it will be all mail in ballots or they will try and kill off more of the population
explain to me how when I got COVID, I recovered pretty quick but still needed an antibiotic to get over the cold symptoms that lingered

Local doctor interview here noted that a lot of the new cases weren't admitted to the hospital for covid, but tested positive.

Is the OT concerned about these new variants?
As long as my doctor doesn't put me on a course of Remdesivir and then put me on a ventilator, I am not concerned.

Weird how it's happening in New York.......
Open your eyes and pay attention. "They" will use Covid again and MSM will do as told to sell the panic.

It’s definitely going around again, but it did last summer as well. It seems to have settled in as a summer virus for whatever reason
Also, it’s basically a bad cold.
