It's in waste water which means it's likely infecting rodents and strays which means it has unlimited reservoir species access which further illustrates that it isn't going to be eradicated.

They sent parents a letter at LSU Lab this afternoon recommending all students, teachers and staff be tested because their poo water had "high levels" too. That's a bit much for me. We're going to pass.

It started as a research project around a year ago, LSU was testing all around Baton Rouge to try to find patterns. I thought it was interesting at first but this is a little too much. I guess it’s hard not to use it on dorms if you know it will bring in results.

Ive seen some research on this. The sewage stuff is actually pretty cool. You can see the spikes days before those numbers start being reported. This research can actually lead to some other cool things because everything ends up in the crapper. For example you can test for drugs. See what is currently trending. Then test it back up the sewer systems and determine where the problem areas are for patrols.

Same. I’m not taking my child with zero symptoms to be tested for Covid.
