I’m definitely not ignorant on this topic though and I’m not at all supportive of shutdowns.

It isn't even a question and what have I been "wrong" about specifically?
you are 100% wrong

Honestly, I never wanted to put my life on hold for the elderly and obese. We all have parents. Mine are in their 70s. They are relatively healthy and they take precautions to avoid being exposed. They understand it is nobody elses responsibility to ensure they live to be 90. It's time for this political charade to come to an end.

Very early on in March and they all for the most part adjusted this policy.

Visitors.... As in people who don't need to be there. Your mother in law and people like that. Father of the child is still able to be in the room.

ITT: OP and Klerk Kent lash out at everything coronavirus calling it insignificant while touting two cases out of thousands of births a day where fathers weren’t present at births.

Quite frankly, one time is too many, and it has certainly happened more than twice.

It's not the norm. It's pretty rare. But it's despicable that it happens to anyone.

You asked for examples and OP provided them. I'm not sure why you felt the need to get your panties in a bunch.

But you said it did not happen and it was anecdotal bullshite. How many times will you attempt to change your stripes in this thread?

Because it wasn’t widespread. OP was acting like this was the norm and it isn’t.

The OP also told me that my wife and her family wouldn't be able to see her grandmother while on Hospice in the nursing home when they gave her only a few days to live and that was false was well...they all got to go in one by one and say their goodbyes..
That would not have happened unfortunately during april/may at our hospital

It seems like most everyone in this thread is a recent father, so I don’t think that’s the problem.

Multiple hospitals throughout american banned any single person other than the delivering mother from being in the room

Changing what stripes? I saw that it happened anecdotally and admitted to that? But this certainly isn’t the norm today.

LMAO point to one time where I even hinted at it being widespread. This is getting embarassing

Many times.

Moving goalposts is the true underlying factor regarding COVID-19. I mean if we are having an honest discussion here Cowboy.

No where in the OP did he suggest that it was the norm or that it was widespread.

Again, preventing a father from being in the room during the birth of his child does not have to be widespread for one to take exception to it. It's ridiculous that it happens at all.
