I'm having a child here in the next few months. I am absolutely allowed in the room during the birth. You can't have an entourage. I don't think it's that crazy to exclude unnecessary occupants.

So the 29 year old that went to a Covid party in San Antonio and died had live a long life ?
Hey, I am 64 and I am sick of all of this too, but I have some more living to do IMO. I play golf twice a week and try to be as normal as possible.
The Houston area in on fire right now with the virus. My buddies daughter is a head trauma doctor in the medical center, she says it is out of control right now.
Just be smart about things and protect yourself the best that you can and make life as fun as possible for you by being safe too.
It is not a hoax.

I've had friends/acquaintances in Florida, New Orleans, North Carolina all not allowed in the room. This is a very real thing.

I can tell you a personal case at women’s in Baton Rouge. This was one of a few instances that led to a policy change at the hospital about it because of backlash. A support person is now allowed no matter what .
The mother had tested positive over a month before delivering the baby. Kept popping positive even though she had long been over it so they said policy was no one with her and she couldn’t even see the baby at first. Only information I’ll put on here because I’m sure someone on here knows them.
