Brother's friend, lives in Jefferson Parish. It was a c-section which is why I believe he wasn't allowed. I live in Florida and its been the rule here since this started. Other friend is in Raleigh and that was a c-section as well.

Not really. The last 2 days the total case numbers have dropped significantly actually. And we still average less than 35 deaths a day. New York had 600 deaths a day for 2 weeks in April.

Because I'm not cowering to something I have a small chance to contract, an even smaller chance to show symptoms, and an almost non-existent chance to die from?

I've had friends/acquaintances in Florida, New Orleans, North Carolina all not allowed in the room. This is a very real thing.

BeeFense is a dumbass who has no idea what he’s talking about.

My wife is pregnant now. We saw our OB-GYN for the first time in late May. She specifically brought the topic up and flat out told me and my wife, that she had heard that was happening in several places around the country, but not to fear, because that would not be happening for us.

recent spikes

Spikes in what? Spikes in testing and false positives being reported? There are certainly no spikes in deaths, as they have been on the steady decline.

Trump said it's going to go away on its own, so I can hold out a little longer.

My wife is due any day now. Our obgyn said now at women’s they will let me in no matter what because of the change in policy they enacted. I would honestly probably go to jail if they tried to keep me out with it being my first born. My wife was having a panic attack about it when it initially happened to our friend

This disease/virus isn't some military invader. It's common sense and decency. Here's your honesty - You are lacking both.

The OP also told me that my wife and her family wouldn't be able to see her grandmother while on Hospice in the nursing home when they gave her only a few days to live and that was false was well...they all got to go in one by one and say their goodbyes.....then they had a funeral for her with only 10 people....

I’m in the exact same boat but due in January. You’re right, it would be a real problem for their hospital staff if they didn’t allow me to see my first born. And I’d lawyer up immediately afterwards.

Testing and positivity rates. In Houston Texas. From what I hear they are leveling off. I am glad. I took some PTO just because I had some to burn. I hope to return to a better situation than I left.

Was it "New York bad"? No. But working hard is working hard.
