Used to be my second favorite brewery. I have actively told people visiting NOLA to not go there anymore because how gigantic an a-hole this dude is. Blaming the NFL for New Orleans shitty infrastructure is next level cope. I bet the dude isn't even calling it a terrorist attack because he's a grade a pussy.

Good to know what biz I will not support. Besides, as previously mentioned, French Truck is much better imo.

French Truck Brewery and Courtyard Brewery are often cross shopped

Id rather not hide my entire life based on what if.
I agree that is me. Same reason I invest in a 401k vs waiting the win the lottery.

If y’all boycott all the crazy liberal restaurants, coffee shops and brewery owners in Nola ya might as well not even venture into the city.

Scott is a tool bag. Always has been, but he used to make some good beer (haven’t been in years so I can’t comment on his current offerings).

Fingers crossed you hold to this.
I'd be good if your kind just kept from virtue signaling in NOLA thread.

New Orleans DID block the road. They FAILED to think of using temporary barricades for the sidewalk.
To be fair, I’ve worked many special events in the FQ for the past 10 years and I don’t ever remember the temporary barricades being used on the sidewalk.
This attack, like many of them, showed us a weakness in our perceived security which will now be addressed. Unfortunately people will look at this with 20/20 vision and say they should have been used prior to the event, like saying the cockpit should be locked during flight and that’s unfair IMO.

Went and looked at Nashville NYE and how they protected their main stretch.
Whew, not a lot different. Had a couple more vehicles blocking, but getting an F150 through seems easily possible, even though you probably would have had to push a squad car.

The Super Bowl is the only reason they ever upgrade anything in New Orleans.

He drove around and onto the sidewalk where there were no bollards
You replied.

Correct. There is another prevention, a gate, that was malfunctioning when they tried to raise it. He drove through that gate. All the yellow bollards they have put out would not prevent what happened. He drove through a separate section of sidewalk, not around the white gate.
You are confusing yourself with contradictions of your own making.
He went over the sidewalk.

Over a sidewalk.
Like I have said, no bollards are intended to be put where he went. Currently there are no intentions to protect Canal sidewalks.

Do they or do they not have the portable bollards at canal and bourbon?

They are on Bourbon.
They would not have stopped the route the guy took.
