That plywood is worth about $37 a sheet today.
Plywood my arse. That’s some wet arse OSB board. I think I’d pass on a tour of the building.

In other news, it was revealed Monday he also owns the Laccasine water park.

Idk who I'm rooting for here. It wouldn't surprise me if the MPC is undercutting him to stop that thing from getting built. I do believe he fricked up his applications but on the other hand this dude built a 4 story windowless bronze shrine to himself in direct defiance of zoning codes. I'm here for it

The city’s Public Works Department first issued a stop work order to Sanders on July 21 for exceeding the scope of work for which he was permitted. The city approved construction of a three-story, 4,500-square foot residential structure. Instead, Sanders added a fourth floor, in violation of building codes, which then made it a commercial building.
According to the city's petition, Sanders was given permission in January to install a roof and exterior moisture barrier to protect the structure from further deterioration. But he was told not to install siding until his revised commercial building plans were approved by the state fire marshal and all city departments.
1) Whomever pulled the original building permit is licensed by the state of LA as a general contractor. Failure to cease work after the orders were given makes it next to impossible for them to continue as a licensed GC in the state of LA going forward.
2) A formal certificate of occupancy will never be issued, thus resulting in a huge eyesore for the public as well as safety concerns down the road.
3) The SFM Office has unmitigated powers to not only fine, but arrest the responsible party for violating the cease of work orders. This is typically a 10-15 day time period from the notice being issued.
4) The structure is in no way designed to handle four story commercial use. A three story residential structure has 1/10th of an anticipated live load than a commercial application. Wood floor trusses versus post-tension concrete...
5) Parking/Zoning/ City Ordinances/ ADA/ elevators/ fire suppression/ etc are all huge hurdles for a knee jerk design change .
6) Folks saying they are on the developer's side here need to revisit the Hard Rock Clusterfrick that occurred 10-12-19 in New Orleans. This is the result of everyone turning a blind eye to the parameters put into place for commercial construction. Honest and reputable contractors get a terrible rap for dumbasses and pieces of shite like this.

The guy must be a money launderer or drug dealer. That is the only way he could afford all that plywood.
A year ago osb was $7 a sheet. My Lowe’s has it at $34.75 a sheet now.
Crazy.

Osb was uncovered on building for months before he put the housewrap on. Looked to be a do it yourself from interstate. Doubt seriously it is up to code. But it’s Shreveport, must have quit paying them to go to the other side of town.

That dude was winded after the first flight of stairs. Building a 4th level wasn't a good idea.

This is 100% not a building, this is an art installation meant to illustrate the current state of Louisiana.

What if he went pulled his own permits? But that still doesn’t explain I’m how that even got through the permit department without having windows. Unless the drawings show windows and he just didn’t put them in when they started framing which will get you a failed inspection.

i don't think people who are "on the developer's side" are really intending this building to be entered by people
like someone said earlier, this is clearly a shrine to the rapper-builder

Maybe Mr Honor Code Perkins will inspect and it will implode.
