Man, I am sorry to hear you friends lost their life. They appear to be young and enjoying life. I hope whoever hit them ends up paying the price through serious jail time.

Were the victims intoxicated? If so, alcohol is certainly part of the problem.
The driver apparently drove through a barricade to hit them. And you’re blaming the victims?
Guess it’s those elementary school kids fault they were in class last week in Bend too, right?
How many people were drinking yesterday? 25,000? And only one drove drunk thru a barricade and killed people.
That ain’t alcohol’s fault, brother.

One minute your whole life is ahead of you with your beautiful sweetheart. The next you’re gone.
God please help the families involved.

Here is an article on WBRZ from August. As details about last night emerge, it might make this seem all the more tragic.
Fred Raiford needs to be forced into retirement

Sorry for your loss and their families loss. They appear to have been upstanding individuals who’s life was taken too soon.

The ones doing the right thing and not operating a motor vehicle to get home were CERTAINLY part of the problem?

Unfortunately for the families, this will be prosecuted in the 19th JDC with Hillar Moore as the DA. She’ll get a plea deal to go pick up litter for a few weekends while two families lose their loved ones forever.

Can we talk about how fricking aggressively young black women drive in BR in their shitty civics and altimas?
I have been in three wrecks in my life and all were black woman that ran into me and one of them didn’t have insurance. Also Everytime I drive by a wreck in BR it’s almost always blacks. They are the worst drivers. I hate to stereotype but it’s definitely a problem and they need to drive less aggressive.

Thank you for all the prayers.
Looks like the info I got early this morning was accurate.
He was a really genuine guy. Played ball at Delgado, and became a firefighter a couple years ago. Commuted back and forth for work. He was a great young fireman, who loved helping people and learning. Just a really down to earth dude, who absolutely adored his fiancé.
I didn’t know her personally, but by all accounts she was a wonderful girl from a good family, with her future bright.
Another girl, a friend, where most of the info was coming from, was struck by a barricade but survived.
He 1000% jumped in front of her to save her when he heard the car crashing through the barricades, and was thrown into a field.
Just a sad tragic situation that could have been avoided.
All your prayers and thoughts are appreciated.
