Nope, nice to visit, but anything over 5-6 days, a pain.

The strip sucks and it is a sea of strip malls once you get away from there. The outdoor life is very good though
so it's like baton rouge, but replace the strip with downtown

Absolutely not. No offense to you I'm sure you're there for a reason and you like it, but I'm not really a gambler and it's very expensive.

The pool scene was nice.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit and hope to visit again and see more of Vegas but man it’s hot. I live in Houston so that is hot.

People will hate me for this, but Vegas is a cheesy New Orleans. So no I wouldn’t live in Vegas.

Idk if the suburbs of Vegas are nice, but I wouldn’t live in the city. Youve got gambling, weed and expensive drinks. You can get that in the south with cheaper drinks.

I could live in Vegas. There is a PILE of outdoor activities in Nevada. Vegas would be a great place to live. I despise visiting Vegas though. Living there would be a whole other situation, one could avoid what makes Vegas Vegas and still live in a great area. I have known BUNCHES of military people and feds who lived in Vegas and they all pretty universally liked living there. I can tolerate Vegas proper for about 3 days max but the surrounding area seems like itd be nice. I am the same way about all major cities.

I'm home now in Baton Rouge. But I want to find a fully remote IT job and a 200 sqft studio apartment off Fremont. I'm at that point in life.
I was out there a while back and had an afternoon flight home.

Stopped at the Grand Opening of the first Raisin’ Canes in LV on opening day*.

The staff and level of service let me know I wasn’t in Shithole any more Dorothy.

*the tenders are in quite the refractory mode over the past five years. This was way before that when they were very happy to see us. Engorged, almost.

We’d miss you if you moved out there but you’d represent us well. Good luck if you go.

frick no. I was miserable the whole time. It is way too hot and dry and a concrete city in the middle of the desert. So much prettier places to live out west.

Our neighbors moved from Vegas 3 years ago because it was getting tooo dangerous! Shortly thereafter, their daughter and family moved here also from Vegas. They said the gangs moved from California to Vegas and feared for their teenager's lives.

Visited once. Had fun, I'd never live there.

Arkansas is and forever will be my home. I couldn't fathom living anywhere else.

Is the goal to live out west or in a casino city? You can get both also in Reno and Lake Tahoe is just a short drive away.

Idk if I could live in Las Vegas.

I could live in Reno, although the food scene out there is pretty lacking.

Me too. I refuse to stay on the Strip. Too many kids. And I just get a better vibe from people on Fremont. Make nice with a few bartenders at The D or Four Queens and you can drink well for pretty cheap too..
