You quoted what I said about a straight bjj match with Holyfield and Ronda and I said Ronda would toy with him.

Wait. So you are saying the bjj practitioner has no chance IF (that was added in there and yes a mma trained person can close distance) they get the boxer on their butt?

I don’t think Rhonda could beat Holyfield even in straight Bjj. That’s a massive size and strength difference. I do think she would toy with me there

I respectfully disagree from what I have seen, but cheers.

If you haven’t try bjj for free at a clean gym. It’s fun.

If it was an mma match the female would not get the male boxer on the ground

ETA: and to answer your question, I already mentioned it earlier in the thread, but I rolled with a buddy of mine with less experience than me but had me by about 40 lbs and he essentially curled out of an armbar

But you see that’s the issue. You are saying that it not going to happen. The question is how do you know that they can not be shot on similar to Randy vs Tony?

I am aware we are speaking of women. I stated in my previous posts the boxers will tag them 3 or 4 times if they shoot on them, but if the mma female can get through and the boxer lands on the mat. It then becomes a world of a new fight.

I mean no one can say that the female couldn’t do that with any certainty.

Listen I am agreeing that men have more strength. I agree that if the female gets caught she is toast, but what I don’t agree on is that it can’t be done and I believe it can be done with ease. The only thing that has to happen is she has to get in one time.

Yup but for how many rounds did he do this?

Did you take over in the next two or three rounds?

I got burnt out from the sport from years of playing it nonstop and having it be the center of your life. No chance of being a pro so I shut it down.

It's embarrassing your posting is Rag 2.0

I use to curl Jason Cribs, Sean Rioco and brock Kerry out of arm bars for the first two rounds. Then by the third and sometimes up to 5th I was flat

*arm bar with neck crank takes care of that

I’m old and slow - so anyone who is faster than me and can throw a good punch (Amanda Nunez) would likely drop me before I had a chance to do anything close to an offensive maneuver.

Not proud of that. It’s just reality.

We have a lot of women where i pactice Jujitsu I'm 230 lbs and only a blue belt. We have a 120lb lady black belt. She is cant do anything to keep me off her but scramble. Strength and size matters on the mat for not professional fighters.

However AN might be the very best to do it. Her talent and technique would be almost impossible for untrained people to overcome. She isn't some lady you see at Walmart on a Weds afternoon

I got think a professional mma champion would dent your ego fast

If your not in great shape and can roll for 10 mins straight you'll get embarrassed

Mingo thinks he could but the height disadvantage would be too great for him to overcome…

You can go to many of the BJJ gyms in the area and grapple with some of the female athletes to get a better idea how you would fare. I think some of you would wake up surprised.
