I use to curl Jason Cribs, Sean Rioco and brock Kerry out of arm bars for the first two rounds. Then by the third and sometimes up to 5th I was flat

But you see that’s the issue. You are saying that it not going to happen. The question is how do you know that they can not be shot on similar to Randy vs Tony?
I am aware we are speaking of women. I stated in my previous posts the boxers will tag them 3 or 4 times if they shoot on them, but if the mma female can get through and the boxer lands on the mat. It then becomes a world of a new fight.
I mean no one can say that the female couldn’t do that with any certainty.
Listen I am agreeing that men have more strength. I agree that if the female gets caught she is toast, but what I don’t agree on is that it can’t be done and I believe it can be done with ease. The only thing that has to happen is she has to get in one time.

Wait. So you are saying the bjj practitioner has no chance IF (that was added in there and yes a mma trained person can close distance) they get the boxer on their butt?

You quoted what I said about a straight bjj match with Holyfield and Ronda and I said Ronda would toy with him.

I am not go read.
The comment you quoted was absolutely a bjj Match.
And by the way we have gone from boxing to bjj to tennis to basket ball to powerlifting to triathletes and far from the original premise. We all have. So we are talking about many different things at once. But STILL my comment for that particular scenario was about bjj.
An untrained dude fighting a pro mma female fighter. Oh and that dude gets his butt kicked 9 times out of 10.
A boxer does best in a boxing ring and an mma fighter does best in the cage.
There are obvious advantages.
Boxer has strength and knockout power.
Mma fighter as standup only to set up ground game if smart and yes! Women can believe it or not beat men in the cage both trained. So that why this is 40 pages long.

Cool. So go roll with a trained female in a bjj gym and make sure she is small, but has one year of training and then tell us what happened.
It will be totally free and you will probably have a good time.

Yes!!!!
Until you are “surprised” that someone you outweighed by 85 pounds just schooled your arse for 3 rounds.
Or the moment you practice the clinch with a 5 ft 3 female and realize her technique makes her deadly. You just simply don’t know.
I tell you one thing. It’s very humbling to get worn out on the mat by a female for the first time. Then you have new perspective.

So a male would kill the boxer with mma skills but a mma trained female would not have a chance (kill them).
So if the female can take the boxer down they don’t have a chance with bjj? Seriously dude

Right anyone who has spent time in a boxing ring AND a mma gym knows that the boxer is going down to the mat.
I mean I can post pics of smaller boxers and larger female mma fighters. So you are saying the muscle wins out over sound ground game.
And let me ask you this why are all the boxers so afraid to step in the cage? They talk, but they don’t want in there. If it’s money then fine, but shut up about what you would do in the cage unless you want to step in there.
Seriously, yes in stand up there would be a problem. Once on the ground and I mean a miscalculated back peddle the boxer is in trouble.
No muscle is not the decider in many fights. Like I said a 135er can knock out a 250 if they get caught.
I am simply saying that the logic that a male boxer would whip a female mma fighter in a cage hands down is ludicrous and simply short sided.
I am aware females are anatomically built differently, but that’s not the point.
The point is any pure boxer in an mma ring is at the disadvantage for the overwhelmingly majority of the time.
Like I said all it takes is one punch OR one trip.

Dude you love to jump to the best of the best. I thought we were talking about random trained fighters.
The thread title is about an average Joe fighting a trained female mma fighter.
It has turned into tennis talk and Mike Tyson versus Ronda.
I will say this. If Floyd stepped in the cage with a trained professional mma female fighter he would tap out.
Floyd would probably take the fight with a million conditions in the contract the same way he did with an over the hill Pacman.
The point I was trying to make is size and muscle will carry you far, but once in the cage if you do not have a ground game. You are most likely going to not know whats up or down once your butt hits the mat with a trained mma fighter.

Yup, Holmes beat the shite out of Ronda in stand up. That’s because she didn’t want to get on the ground and Ronda let her ego step into the fight and tried to stand with her.
Floyd is the most annoying point boxer I have ever watched. I can’t stand him and he is smart enough to stay out the cage as is Fury.
I watched the recap of Diaz and Jake. There is no way Logan last more than three minutes in the cage.
I struggle with the idea that some people think that someone (don’t care weight or gender) thinks a male boxer is going to have an advantage in the CAGE with a female mma fighter. Sure if it’s a boxing match.
The fight isn’t going to be a knock down drag out. It’s going to be one of the boxer keeping off the opponent and I am sorry but they WILL most likely be tripped up incredibly fast. Once they are on the ground and wrapped up at all. They are toast. It’s technique in two completely separate disciplines.
In the CAGE…yes, I am betting on the mma female. Floyd can only run around so much and Tyson would without a doubt never put himself in that ring. THEY know better.
I hope we start seeing more boxers go to MMA and not ten million dollar exhibition fights.

The point I am making is that mma is superior to boxing in the cage. I also will say that you will not see any of those fights you mentioned for a reason.
Boxing doesn’t handle ground game. Now if you want to jump to extremes like that…fine.
Yes, I believe the boxer will fail in an mma fight the vast majority of the time.

I will take it a step further.
Trained male boxer vs trained mma female.
I am taking the female.
She will be inside and on your ankle before you know it. Then said boxer will be scrambling and soon taping or going to sleep.
Now IF the boxer can tap her 3 or 4 times before she goes for a double leg takedown then sure. In a fight anyone can win. 135 vs 250 doesn’t matter if you get caught and it happens to the best of us but trained in the cage…I would go with the women.
Go look up Mikey Musumeci. That nerdy looking dude would kill probably everyone here. Now I am aware it’s not a women, but sound full spectrum mma training is where I would place my money, not on muscles or even weight.

I trained at gladiators in Mandeville many many years ago with Rich Clementi and I would practice the clinch with a pro female fighter and I am certain her 5 ft 3 inch body could kill me. I was 240 and 6 ft back then. She was like an anaconda.

Lee Ving was my hero as well. I just saw them open for the misfits last Halloween. I also had that exact same poster.
I had Black Flag, Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys, misfits skateboards on my wall (scarecrow boards) in the shape of the black flag bars.
I have a good bit of Allen Jaegers work in one of my rooms to this day. He is a famous rock artist who lives in the Covington area
