In the land of wild hypotheticals:
I bet you could go to Thailand and find a 135#* ex-pro Muay Thai fighter in his 50s that every single measurable including aerobic and anaroebic output is lower than some of the best Bantamweight female MMA fighters. I have a nice crisp George Washington that says no untrained "fighter" here makes it through the 5 three minute rounds upright.
* he probably would have fought at 118 or 122

I think an in shape 50 year old male muay Thai fighter would kill me if he wanted to

use to curl Jason Cribs, Sean Rioco and brock Kerry out of arm bars for the first two rounds. Then by the third and sometimes up to 5th I was flat
That's the point though. BJJ rolling is a controlled practice. In a real fight curling out of one armbar is all it's going to take.

I don't either, currently, but did wrestle in HS. So, yes, I've seen teenagers move quicker, in a combat sport, than a 58 year old woman possibly can.

Not embellishing
Then idk what to tell you. You've obviously not been paying attention. There are many, many people faster and more agile than a 58 year old woman. We are about to watch many of them every Saturday starting this weekend.
quote:
Yeah she moves fast. Real fast.
That's not what you said in the original quote I responded to. You said she was the fastest person you had ever seen in your life. Total embellishment. That's just objectively false.
quote:
You're welcome to contact her and see if she'd come down to your local Sonic. Probably have to pay travel expenses and a per diem, so it would be an expensive arse kicking.
Show me where I claimed she wouldn't beat me up. I'm relatively out of shape compared to anyone who trains to fight for a living. I run a couple ti.es a week to keep bad weight off and stay somewhat healthy, but I'm not in camp training for a fight right now.

It's still a male though. 50 is not that old either

So it is your contention that even though every single measurable is at or lower than that of the female pro MMA fighter the simple fact that he has a Y chromosome makes him somehow significantly better. Are you suggesting it is an aggression thing or some other non-measurable?
The point was to find a highly trained male fighter that was not physically stronger nor has better cardio/stamina.

Glad to see this dumpster fire still raging.

and how the hell has no one mentioned chimps or bears yet?

Males in general, trained or not, are stronger than females. A 50 year old has gone through muscle maturity and has lost a small amount of strength vs say a 30 year old. So yes a 50 year old would still kick your arse.
50 year old males fighter would beat the shite out of a 135lb female fighter
It's like this 135lb female fighting a chimp. Weight doesn't matter they are both 135lbs. Chimp would kill her.

You can tell the people who are saying they would beat a female MMA fighter have never actually been in a fight, nor have any concept what MMA is about.
Here’s what would happen in reality:
Rousey would kick you so hard on the shin that you’d think your leg was broke. Your head would fall forward. She’d get a guillotine on you and you’d be tapped.
And if you don’t think pro MMA fighters, even those who are 135 females, can hurt you with kicks - then just have some girl you know offer to kick you as hard as they can in the shin. Just any amateur. Then imagine what a pro would do.
If it were boxing, most 200 pound men will last and should beat a 135 pound woman. But MMA is far different than boxing or fist fighting

The only people saying they can have never seen a good female fighter irl and their fight resume is basically Reggie’s parking lot.

What's wrong with the chimp analogy?

Nothing. Fighting a chimp is an O-T favorite.

Most of the folks I know who have done MMA workouts/training were complete dorks when I knew them
They could almost certainly beat my arse now, shite’s weird

Since I was a heavyweight boxer for over a decade, yeah I'd absolutely frick her world up.
If I had no combat sports experience whatsoever, I'd probably still be able to hold my own just with the weight and height advantage alone.
That's not a dig at Nunez, she's a badass. But dude, she's a chick.

I still think she pummels 80% of the OT males. The DI football and wrestling guys would work her. A guy like me, 6'0, 185, decent athlete would be an interesting battle. She'd kill me if I didn't prepare, but I'd like to see what I could do with some good physical training and technical instruction.
