This is a game changer for Sam's.
Every store needs this, including Walmart, Target

Costco. Dropped my Sam's membership years ago, even though it is 15 minutes closer.

Costco on the Northshore would be packed 24/7. Seems like a no brainer

I've never been to Costco. I don't desire having to drive that much further into Lafayette. On an average day it could take another 30 minutes to get from Sam's to Costco. I can get m
In and out of Sam's taking mostly back roads, from where I live.
How much is the membership and how do the prices compare though? Could make a special trip into town, when traffic isn't so bad, if the price is worth it. Also, is it the exact same sort of items, just better?

I like Costco overall but SAMs has a better variety of the products most people buy/use like diapers and food products.

One Costco perk I like is the cash back so my membership renewal pays for itself. One downside of Costco is I can only use a Visa card there, which is pretty annoying if your preferred card is a MC/Amex/Discover

They've opened 2 near me in the last year or so. One is a business center catered more towards restaurants. Much less packed. It's nice.

They built it in a closed Sam's club.

Speaking of Sam's club, they have a concept store here too called Sam's club now which is like their testing grounds. It's where they first had the app to scan and buy everything.

I find Sam's has better meat, specifically steaks, everything else at Costco seems higher quality, including the views of the milfs.

Sam's by me started carrying prime meat, but Costco still has more variety. Granted I haven't been to Sam's in a couple years.

The price is identical at Costco and Sams, and honestly there's not much difference in the taste either.

My wife thinks the Sams brand paper towels are better than the Costco paper towels, I myself don't rightly care.

Best thing is both of them have the cheapest gas in town.

Costco is the largest seller of wine in the world. The wine and liquor selection and prices can’t be beat.

The meats at Sam's are better. The clothing is better at Costco. Other than that we don't see much of a difference.

Yeah, that is annoying though they do take MC debit cards.

I remember in the early 90's Sam's only took Discover cards.
