No shite...and I have been. Just pointing out how these measures are arbitrary. One of the easiest and most effective things they could do to stop the spread is disinfect that between customers, but NO ONE is doing that...no one is actually using logic...they are just following what they see. I have the same beef with stores that are making people line up before entering.....home depot is massive and easy to social distance in, but they made people wait in line..a line that got so long people kinda had no choice but to be within a foot of each other. So this measure provided no added safety..it was a policy for the sake of having a policy

How do you think football season will be going down? You're going to need a ticket and a mask to get in the stadium this fall. #fact

Do you write for Southpark ? This is totally ridiculous, just shut the damn thing down then. You think 90+ thousand will leave a mask on during a football game ? Live life and turn off the TV/social media.

Costco in Harris county, along with almost all other businesses, are requiring masks to enter as of Monday. I was denied entry into a store yesterday because of no mask.

It takes major balls to turn away business right now, but here we are. I got kicked out of Eatzi's, a tiny local italian bakery. They are virtually empty since the lockdown. Feel bad, but I'm not wearing a mask after 5 months of the virus circulating thinking it's doing anything.

especially since everyone will be wearing masks as they use the same credit card keypads

I'm not sure about everywhere else or other stores, but I was in Costco in Memphis yesterday and they have the key pads covered in plastic and an employee disinfects them between every customer

If health officials are saying it’s a wise action to take to avoid community spread then why not briefly wear a mask while in store? It’s really not bad, trust me. I’ve had to do it for weeks in PA and it’s really not a big deal at all. If it helps reduce the potential for a surge then I’m for it so we can continue opening shite back up. You can say all you want about reopening everything but if there is another surge then elected officials have shown that they will close stuff down. Why even test the potential for another surge? Just wear a mask for 10 min and move on with your day.

Highly likely they are being strong armed into this by government

Costco is pretty woke. I think they are just getting some light anal play from the government and are just going with it.

How is it arbitrary? Washing your hands protects you. Wearing a mask keeps you from contaminating others.

If you do not have any respiratory symptoms, such as fever, cough, or runny nose, you do not need to wear a medical mask. When used alone, masks can give you a false feeling of protection and can even be a source of infection when not used correctly

costco

most chicks & dudes should be required to wear a mask at costco, covid or not, due to the fact that they're hideous looking.

hooters chicks should be required to wear a mask if dude
customer deems necessary.

any chicks that shop at hobby lobby should 100% be required to wear a mask while wearing their cat sequined hanes sweatshirts and perusing the millions & millions of wicker baskets.

all popeyes workers should wear nomex suits masks and headgear.

all mexicans should wear yesmex suits.

awesome....seriously awesome! I haven't seen this anywhere around me. Good to see a store actually do something instead of asking their customers to change and act like they are doing something.

OT - "Open everything back up!!"

Costco - "We are going to stay open and continually stocked, but we'd like you to take a simple precaution that at worst can be viewed as a tad inconvenient to help protect any vulnerable workers we may have"

OT - "frick you Costco"
