It's gotten noticeably worse since they stopped allowing booze in self checkout. We were there today too. It wasn't an hour wait though, maybe 15 minutes.

I went at 11 today and waited 4 min to check out. Was kinda surprised it was so quick with move in weekend happening for LSU

Though i no longer live anywhere near a Costco, ive always thought Costco was awesome, but only at around 10:30 or 11am on weekdays .. any other time and id avoid it like the plague .

It took me 40 fricking minutes to get my picture taken for a card. It takes 20 minutes to get gas. That's not even the shite in the store. Costco can take a flying leap. No curbside. Never, ever, ever, going again. But this board will continue to just talk about the great deals they got on polo shirts, and why it's worth it to waste hours of your life "shopping."

I went to Costco yesterday in Bend Oregon.
I was looking for outdoor furniture but those bastards didn’t have any.
So I had to schlep around with morons and their dogs inside the store. Tons of dogs everywhere inside.

It’s move in weekend for LSU as well as the normal Saturday crowds. Costco being slammed isn’t exactly surprising

Yep. Walmart on College Drive was slammed yesterday. Costco locations in South Florida have had self check out for years. I usually go with my wife. She gets in line for the $1.50 hot dog/soda combos while I check out. Works out fine. The gas lines are another matter. Sometimes I’ll drop my wife off at the door and go get gas.

They can use another location in the Baton Rouge area. Like maybe Juban, Gonzales, or Zachary. And they should do it before Sams adds another store somewhere.

About 10 years ago visited Costco and Sam's to determine which one to go with. Costco won out and I became a fan. About a year ago got tired of the crowds and tried Sam's again.
Sam's has surpassed them. Less crowds, same deals, their version of Kirkland is just as good, meat department is solid, and the scan and save is amazing.
Costco needs an overhaul.
