I don't know a whole lot about him either but I think what got social media stirred up is around the time the Weinstein stuff was going on Tate tweeted something about sexual assault victims sharing responsibility for their attacks.
Other than that I don't really know much about him except he used to be a kickboxer

It went beyond just that kind of talk dude. Plenty of guys complain about double standards b/t sexes online. They dont talk about pulling out a machete, punching a women in the face and choking her for being accused of cheating.
