Did you have to pre-order? How long did it take?

I’m looking at Z06’s but there’s already been a few reports of the engines popping before the break in period ends lol

Yeah it’s not a good look. I’ll wait a bit and see if it’s still an issue when I’m looking again in a year or so. Who knows what I’ll want by then. At the moment a UR built R8 is tops of the list.

That red C7 just came off the track in Kentucky. 163 in the straight away. And the 80 year old rebock dad drove it. He would be more than happy to show you some pipe fitter knuckles and then teach you how to keep your car clean after he whipped your arse.

Is that Hypersonic? I don't know what it is but HGM and to a lesser degree SFM look so good to me on the C8. The typical sports car colors I generally like look plasticy and toy-like on the C8.

I’ll be looking in the next 1.5 or 2 years. Would love to get a M5 comp but not liking the way the front ends are going and wife always wants to have an SUV for the dogs.

It is somewhat of a departure of the deep acrylic enamels and clear coats on previous generations. Some of those were really nice. Maybe they will bring some of those back in the future?

My wife has an F90 and loves it. The S63 engine is incredible, hers dynoed at 619 to the wheels so the 617 to the crank is significantly underrated. The C8 is definitely a completely different experience. The Z06 is wholly different again.

I think I have the same motor in my 2021 X5M. It’s fun and fast as shite for an SUV but it can’t hang off the line with my Tesla.

It’s okay, Russ. You can eat your tater tots and not worry with your 80 year old buddy. I was referencing flame boy

I haven’t seen that one on the track but they make regular trips there. That group raises a lot of money each year for St. Jude. Bunch of good old boys.
