In the words of Chris Rock-
quote:

Every city has two malls. The mall the white people go to, and the mall the white people used to go to.
If you've been to the Bluebonnet mall lately then you'll know this means Baton Rouge is due a new mall.

What was the name of the bar in Cortana that served Hurricane knockoff drinks called Funerals?

Cortana mall was a fun innocent place during my childhood. Sometimes you have to just let go of life.

Chic Fil A closed last year. I really want to go walk through that mall one more time before it closes for good, just for old times sake. Haven't been beyond Sear's, into the mall part, in at least 5 years.

But Bon Marche had a movie theater.
Cortana did too at one point. It was nowhere as big as the 11 screens at Bon Marche, but I remember watching Disney's Fantasia there as a youngster. I seem to recall it being something like 2 screens. IIRC, it was somewhere in the vicinity of the Mervyn's and where the aforementioned Chick-Fil-A was located (until early 2016).

Chelsea's, right! That's what I wanted to say, but I was thinking that was the name of the place in the strip shopping center off of College (maybe), but that was The Catery.

I had a lot of fun at those two places. Can't remember most of the details, but I'm sure I had fun.

No shite. That's why housing prices are so high in this city. Only so many places left to live safely and civilized.

So ya know, as a young guy in the homebuyer market, thanks!

Cortana was the shite in the 90s and early 2000s. I remember when the mall of Louisiana opened in 97 those first two weeks nobody was at Cortana. Being that we lived right by the mall my mom tooked advantage on all the sales they had going on to bring back people. Best time for me there was as a kid in the mid/late 90s wanting all the jerseys, different color NY hats, all the jordans and Ken Griffey Jr. shoes. I stayed in Footlocker and Foot Action.

It closed last year I think. I'm also pretty sure that's the Chic-Fil-A that supplied the sandwiches for tiger stadium.
