Coronavirus is not real

deadly to anyone who is not elderly or has underlying health conditions. Despite the premise that the disease would kill more than two million Americans, the actual rate of infected people who die from the disease is between 1 to 3%
However, you should still take these preventative measures to protect yourself and help slow the spread of Coronavirus.
- Clean your hands often.
- Use soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand rub.
- Maintain a safe distance from anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
- Don’t touch your eyes, nose or mouth.
- Cover your nose and mouth with your bent elbow or a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
- Stay home if you feel unwell.
- If you have a fever, a cough, and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention. Call in advance.
- Follow the directions of your local health authority.

That's pretty high
But no one knows the real mortality rate at this point

Neither is your thought process.

Clickbait misleading titles should be a bannable offense.

He's not wrong. It's not killing healthy people.

What kind of person goes to a site and drafts a post that is written in a "there is nothing to fear" way only to throw out a completely alarming, dishonest stat in an attempt to actually cause fear.

frick you and your clickbait thread title

Perhaps not but it can frick you up. The 16 year old daughter of a guy I went to HS with is currently in the hospital with it. Healthy, no underlying conditions. People think "mild,' as no big deal. In terms of this virus, mild just means you don't need to be hospitalized on oxygen. You can still be out of commission for weeks.

Not a single healthy person has died from this virus!

Isnt this strange?
It doesn't seem logical to me that a virus could both be very dangerous (I'm assuming by our collective response that the experts judge it to be abnormally dangerous) AND only able to kill the old and/or those in poor health.

Have a downvote for that ridiculous title. This needs to be whacked.

Ava, a former Dr. Phil guest, is making headlines again. The 21-year-old college student who defied all the rules went viral on TikTok for licking a toilet seat on an airplane, as she headed to spring break festivities. Ava says the coronavirus is fake news made up by social media.

You can always find outliers. But the facts are that healthy people are highly unlikely to have a serious case.

if that makes you sleep better, okay, but there have been plenty of documented cases of "relatively healthy" people dying from this. Sure the chance of that happening is MUCH lower than elderly and very unhealthy, but there are plenty of folk that think they are in the "healthy" category, and probably technically aren't.

Death is not the only downside of it. It's not like you either (1) die or (2) just have mild symptoms.
Maybe you spend a week or two on a ventilator, or your lungs are permanently harmed after being in bed for a week. It's not like that was nothing.
