Ohio numbers are starting to look promising. New daily cases started to decline from low 20% last week. 14% yesterday and 12% today. Only at 2200 cases statewide too.
We’ll see what happens the rest of the week but this seems to be good news.

It's starting to look like a real trend and not just a statistical anomaly. The hospitals all seem to be handling it pretty well so far too.

Does anyone know what the situation is with the drive thru testing sites in nola area at this point? Can anyone get a test yet? Is it still the week turn around tests?
Last update I heard was a week ago and you had to have severe fever to get one. Doubt that's still the case but curious.

Because their tracker says around 3400 total thus far. They probably meant we hit the 3000 mark today and not 3000 died today alone.
Or maybe you meant that too?

Consolidated over at UNO, 500 tests a day, only with symptoms.
I have two friends that took tests last Tuesday, all the symptoms. STILL no results week later.

They are gonna need another stimulus bill. The first one won't be enough.

Well, the responsible thing is to notify them. Nobody wants COVID on their fries.
I kid, dude. But it’s still the right thing to do to tell. And I certainly hope all of the hospice care folks are also being tested and quarantined as though they have. They could kill a lot of folks all by themselves.

I think this is what will get a lot of old people. Their caregivers are typically not well-paid, nor are they educated. They're more just warm bodies to do basic tasks. Therefore, they likely fail to take the precautions necessary to protect their clients from anything the caregiver may have contracted.
