I had that the last couple weeks. It has gone since Tuesday. I was in New Orleans 3 weeks ago so it wouldn’t surprise me if I caught it but just wasn’t very symptomatic.

Wonderful.

I actually think we're of similar opinions overall. I was directly replying to the quotes from the governor of Ohio, who seems to be using some worst case scenario model with outrageous numbers.

In my opinion, the Ohio governor has been fairly open with his decision making process. They haven't shared all of the details of the models they are using (just high level stuff), but I do know they have modeling groups at Ohio State University and the Cleveland Clinic that have been collaborating. I'm hoping they release more of the data they are looking at.

On one hand, numbers will rise as testing ramps up, but on the other, it seems kind of crazy to me that the actual (tested or untested) will continue to skyrocket with the stay at home order in place. Everyone I know is pretty much at home except for grocery shopping or essential work.

The essential work category does seem to be pretty broad as there are a lot of ancillary services that are needed to support more obviously essential services.

I left work yesterday and just felt really tired walking to my car.

By the time I started driving home I was having chills and body aches and just wanted to crawl into bed once I got home.

No fever, no cough, no SOB.

But yeah....initially I'm all like "frick, I have it". Now I think I likely have the flu. Flu A still around a good bit here.

Can't go back to work until I'm free of all symptoms for at least 72 hours though. Don't need to seek any medical attention unless symptoms worsen. If I start having any COVID symptoms I'm to call employee health.

Checking my temp every couple of hours while awake with both an oral and temporal thermometer just to be on the safe side. Feel like I've been hit by a truck and I'm freezing cold with a room temp in my place of 74
...but temp is still 98.4.

Italy shut down bars and restaurants, etc. on March 12, and their new cases are still high. That's because a lot of people don't get sick enough to go to the hospital until about 10 days after exposure. And a shutdown doesn't immediately stop the spread, because people still give it to family members.

Our new positive cases per day is still going to go up every day for the next week or more.

I agree with GOP, but I think we will have to wait until then end of April or beginning of May before production of medications and test kits has spooled up enough.

No test yet because I haven’t really had meaningful symptoms. I’m doing more general patient management at this point to limit interaction.

I’m off this weekend so if I get worse I’ll prolly handle it then

Most of his stuff we are experiencing/knew too except the ubiquity of it. We worked very hard to get extra sedation medications and are continuing to do so

I know that normally not hearing anything like wheezing is good but is that necessarily a good sign in + covid patients?

no crackles, fever, or coughing means I prolly dont have pneumonia which means my "chest pain" is probably (hopefully) musculoskeletal or something else but not covid19

I know it was to be taken with a grain of salt but the “info” from a page or so ago said to put the stethoscope away as they may sound clear. I likely misunderstood.
