Yes but no one has any idea on the reporting or the accuracy of numbers that are reported.

Have they started you on Hydroxychloroquine & AZ? I’ve noticed several folks tested at our hospital were on it. Multiple sources singing it’s praises... def worth asking about to possibly save you from a dreaded ICU admission.

I have a new doctor that will be here tomorrow morning to take over my treatment. He supposedly has a handle on treating this virus. The doc from last night admitted that he really didn't know where to start other than how to treat respiratory distress.

Is the Coronavirus in Africa or South America yet? Seems those third world countries would be hit very hard.

Yeah, but the virus is likely degraded by heat, humidity, and UV rays. So, none of them have yet had the severity of outbreaks that have happened in the colder, darker, dryer parts of the world.

Summer is coming.

ETA that the doc told me all those years of smoking likely contributed to my condition becoming serious. He doesn't think the virus is much of a threat to people in good health and those without preexisting conditions like copd.

Do me a big flavor and ask him about sleep apnea in a person with about 10lbs of extra weight (very much not obese).

ETA: Ask your NEW doc.

Also does the number of people already taking malaria medication in those areas limit the number of severe Corona virus cases?

I am leaning towards that as well. The earlier the drugs are administered the more effective they appear to be.

Still praying you turn the corner soon. Did your blood oxygen or any other readings decline more or is everything seeming to hold steady?

Can you ask If new doctor will review current medicines now and see if any should be stopped today before new doctor sees you tomorrow?

Stay-at-home order issued for Montana, effective at 12:01 AM Saturday. Officially open-ended for now.

Listening to Gov Bullock's announcement right now on the radio.
