Studious is attainable and she plans to do so but fun is pretty much cancelled -- movies, parties, that type stuff. She only wants to watch so much Netflix with mom and dad.

Bright spot is she can "go to class" in her pjs lol.

Yeah, I suppose that if I were her age, at Alabama, and this was all happening, I'd be pretty deflated. Hopefully she makes the best of it.

Any second now trump will shutdown the entire country. My sister's SO's dad hear that from a buddy who had some DoD contracts a few years ago.

I know multiple nurses at Touro and this is just completely false and misguided information.

This has to stop.

She's missing her college besties but does have great friends who stayed home to go to college ... I've told her I'm good with them coming over here if their parents are good with it. Talking 4-5 girls so we're technically following the state requests.

“Our findings reveal that remdesivir and chloroquine are highly effective in the control of 2019-nCoV infection in vitro. Since these compounds have been used in human patients with a safety track record and shown to be effective against various ailments, we suggest that they should be assessed in human patients suffering from the novel coronavirus disease.”

exactly

That’s why it’s important we have people here to debunk these rumors. It gets out of hand quickly. We have pretty good data on this disease by now. Anything you hear that sounds completely off the end of the spectrum I would look at very skeptically until it’s confirmed.

remdesivir and chloroquine are highly effective

I wonder if those are manufactured in this country. If not, maybe the federal reserve can print some for us.

Keep in mind we have been knowing that remedsivir and chloroquine work in the lab.

We are anxiously awaiting the results in humans. That could be a huge break. Tiguar has a patient right now on hydroxychloroquine (the newer version of chloroquine)

So you are just ignoring the science behind what rds posted?

How convenient.
