It's because they are all in on this thread and want to be correct at all costs. That and they get their talking points from shite like CNN, Fox, MSNBC, Facebook etc and have no idea the function of the market as it relates to every day Americans. Invested or not, the market affects everyone.
When someone says something like "you aren't retiring tomorrow so why do you care" shows me they are a fool and just repeating the line they read somewhere else. Only an idiot would think that is a logical statement.
