Anyone notice that the Johns Hopkins map no longer identifies the specific areas where there are cases, only the number per state. What's the deal on that?

Don't know, but the county by county system they were using before made it very easy to see where the cases are. A map telling me that there are 13 cases in TX isn't much help.

You don’t understand. I got a ton of points refunded yesterday because I’m flying 3 times this year already. I now have enough points to take a 4th trip. Italy sounds great right now is all.

.15 * 35 = 5.25

.15 * 12 = 1.8

So 3-4 more open ICU beds per hospital will handle the flow?

The flow that won’t take place here. It’ll help, right?

So you couldn't afford to go to Italy in March before, but now you have points to go and want to complain about not being able to immediately go in March?

You can still fly into Italy. So why don't you go?

There are 3 cases in Collin County. Does that count?

Collin County Reports 3 Confirmed Cases of Coronavirus
quote:

There are now three confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in Collin County, health officials confirmed Tuesday.

The updated number includes the original case of a Frisco man who recently traveled to California, as well as his wife and their 3-year-old child. The family's other three children have not been affected, Collin County Health Care Services said in a news release.

The family is in stable condition and in self-quarantine in their home.

....this is why Iran should have allowed alcohol this whole time, they’d be better at drinking it

The way China initially handled this virus reminds me so much of this powerful scene from hbo’s Chernobyl, when the city officials first meet after the explosion

Couldn’t is a strong word. I’m just saying now it’s possible with the points I got back. And where have I complained?

In all seriousness, next April is our 10th anniversary. We are going back then.

When they say underlying conditions, do they mean a condition that specifically makes viruses more dangerous, or ANY health condition?

Chernobyl was such a great show. It actually came out right as I was starting in Nuclear. Freaked the wife out a little.
