Yes, and it is good to see folks here post the full count in Italy, from total cases, critical, discharged, and deaths.
Pay attention to discharged and deaths. That is the real death rate. Until you been cleared you aren't finished fighting. Let the numbers talk and not assumptions.
It is remarkable how Italy, Iran, and South Korea are walking the same early wuhan numbers to such close proximity. China just stopped reporting real death numbers as we all knew anyways.
I read where Thailand has an exponential increase in "viral pneumonia" to hide their real numbers. Over 2,500 cases to 40+ CV.
Italy has 10% who need ICU. Italians saying they don't have that capacity for too long. Paris hospital has such a surge they can't test them all as they come in.

And what evidence do we have that we are not taking the appropriate steps? I mean, some pretty sharp folks are on the case.
I work in some affected hospitals in California, we are not prepared. There is a disconnect between administrative/government officials and what is actually happening on the units and in the EDs that are in these communities. I’m not saying this is apocalyptic but hospitals are not nearly as well run as the general public thinks.

A lot of trashy people have been booming in the medical field lately too.

People keep referring to how great the US health care system is...it has its own share of problems. We aren’t 3rd world but we are in no way prepared for a massive community outbreak.

Nobody is. We’re still the best medical system to deal with this.

How did it get to this point?
Why aren’t hospitals ready for this on any given year?

29 deaths in a week in Italy. That’s crazy. With Europe’s open boarders I’m sure this has already spread all over

Surely this person had some other medical condition.

Looks tired. Probably hasn’t gotten a lot of sleep lately. The timing of this Afghanistan update is a little off. But I believe this was scheduled prior to the death being reported. I have full confidence the media will be fair to him.
