Thanks V! I’ll do a bit of research myself on your work. Vancomycin has nearly run its course in MRSA Tx.

Man, don’t listen to the haters either. Take your skills to the next level out of BK and into Red Robin! ????

Can you dumb it down and tell us morons what that means? Talking about all the data posted in last two pages...

So they think it’s slightly more deadly?

And they think it’s actually 75k infected in Wuhan, not the 8k as reported?

hasnt posted in a while either. Wonder if they are telling everyone to chill the eff out now that a test did in fact come back positive. (which, if you're keeping track, they said the would let everyone go after three days provided no one tested positive.that they are staying longer is not good).

We have line to a direct source of info vis a vis this country's response. Would love to know what they are talking about on that base. Just hope our baw and his family are ok.

eta: He posted at 226. my bad! missed that.

I think this is where all of the “China is lying” back and forth started: no one of authority ever claimed the 8k was the total number of infected. The unknown factor is a LOT of those ill are simply staying at home. It makes it difficult to estimate the true scope of infection, as well of the true mortality rate.

They are using that as a baseline for calculation estimates. Earlier this week their estimate of infected symptomatic was mid 20k, with total infected around 44k.

Just means they are right on track for the prediction to hit 100k early/mid next week.

Anybody else got their N95 mask? I made a run yesterday and picked up enough for me and immediate family.

They think the vast majority of cases are mild symptoms and will never be confirmed, similar to the flu.

Only a fraction of true infections will be laboratory confirmed - doesn't mean China is lying because the CDC makes the same estimates vs confirmed cases for the flu.

I mean, on the bright side, isn’t that a good thing? That people are able to fight this thing off and not need a doc?

Who is “they” and are they sure or is it a guess based on information coming out of China?

Finally they are moving to stop flights. This should have been done days ago.

How many airports normally have flights from China? Kind of like only allowing seven open fires on the Hindenburg.
