Someone back me up on the French translation, but a LOT of the commentary on those Twitter links says the video is misrepresented.
It was not filmed in Wuhan, and it wasn’t attempts to flee, but a protest to build a quarantine facility in their village.
EDIT: apparently they agreed.....they took it down.

It would be nice to understand the Germany case better. I am sure the German doctors and epidemiologists and scientists are taking a hard look at that case right now to understand how easily it is transmitted.
Who just contradicted the article about the woman who spread it in Germany. They just said in the presser that she started showing symptoms just prior to boarding flight to return. So quite possible she was sick and showing signs when she spread it.

Yeah, I'm curious about the asymptomatic cases. How many, if any, are actually asymptomatic. People often are sick and showing at least minor symptoms before they realize. You could have minor symptoms for a day or two, coughing here or there/feeling generally fatigued, and put it down to cold weather/bad sleep/etc.

Everything that has been reported that I have seen said that she flew from Wuhan to Germany for a scheduled training. Interacted with several of these employees. As she was flying back to China she started having symptoms. One of those employees that was also at the training contracted it, but didn't show symptoms. Interacted with three other employees while being asymptomatic and they were infected with the virus.

Were those CIA agents in disguise?
Were those people infected with highly contagious disease, or just trying to look edgy and cool on social media?

Point is, any of the ice cream lickers could have been sick too.

I’m telling you what the WHO just said.... I’d hope they would know exactly how it played out since they are researching and determining its impact

Could have been.
These people knowingly are or believe they are likely to be and their actions are driven because of that

You are saying the WHO just said she was symptomatic as she was going to the airport/getting on the plane. So she was still asymptomatic when it was spread/contracted by the trainee, correct?
Do you have a link?

I am guessing many of the twitter videos are fake. Most americans wouldn't know. Someone from Taiwan could put on a mask and scream in panic about dead people in Japanese and we wouldn't know the difference.

2019-nCoV is sufficiently divergent from SARS-CoV to be considered a new human-infecting betacoronavirus. Although our phylogenetic analysis suggests that bats might be the original host of this virus, an animal sold at the seafood market in Wuhan might represent an intermediate host facilitating the emergence of the virus in humans. Importantly, structural analysis suggests that 2019-nCoV might be able to bind to the angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 receptor in humans. The future evolution, adaptation, and spread of this virus warrant urgent investigation.

All they said was she showed symptoms prior to boarding the plane to return... it stood out bc everything in print said while she was on the plane and he clearly said before.
It was the live presser via the link in this thread

I believe I saw a "Clemson 2019 National Championship" shirt in the crowd. My eyes may be playing tricks on me...maybe it was a Georgia 2019 SEC Champions shirt.
Those are some angry folks.
Just FYI...they're pissed because the guy visited Wuhan and didn't tell anyone when he came home. He socialized for a few days throughout the community then fell ill.

@ezracheungtoto
Local paper @appledaily_hk reports that two doctors from the Prince of Wales Hospital showed symptoms of novel pneumonia after taking care of some patients infected by #WuhanCoronavirus. The paper adds they were in full gear during the treatment.
I'm trying to remember but there hasn't been any numbers on how many doctors/nurses have gotten sick has there?

Has China ever locked down 60 mil people before? How about hauling arse to build 2 hospitals around the clock? Face mask out of supply. Some social unrest. Looks like a super bug to me.
Must be a racist superbug. There are only a handful of non-Asian cases.

Was this guy infected?
You just read a post of what someone else said what something appeared to be, and not only did you know it to be true, but apparently the color of their sputum and their occupation as a covert agent.
For all you know that guy saw a film from six months ago. A LOT of that has been happening with twitter coverage of this.
