if you are coughing and sneezing and a heavy mouth breather that talks to a lot of people, you should probably wear a mask
otherwise, it serves zero purpose

We shouldn’t want to slow the spread at this point. Hospitals aren’t at risk. Let it spread. Let people develop antibodies. It’s too late for masks anyway. And any “study” on masks weren’t done on the made-from-home cotton crap that people are reusing.

Oh, that's right. I have to keep remembering that you actually want tens of thousands more people to die.
And cloth masks, while not as effective as surgical masks, still have a significant impact on the rate of transmission. I'm too busy right now to go look up the study I read, but it's still a very significant impact.

What if this crap is like fever blister virus that you have your whole life once you get it? When herpes flairs up, have the antibodies failed?
Then if you have this virus and your antibodies fail down the road, do you die rather than getting a cold sore?
i.e. Maybe there is no continuing herd immunity.

Why do y’all want to push this back into respiratory season?
Do you want hospitals to actually be overrun?
Combine this situation with flu, RSV, etc., and that is EXACTLY what you will get.

Just fooling around with some numbers from Louisiana. Two weeks ago, on April 13, Louisiana was reporting 884 total Covid deaths and 201 Long term care facility deaths. On April 27th, Louisiana reported 1740 total Covid deaths and 585 LTCF. So in the last two weeks (13th-27th), almost half (44.9%, 384/856) of Louisiana new reported deaths have come from LTCF .
LTCF deaths are rising much faster than non-LTCF deaths in Louisiana. Here are numbers from April, comparing LTCF total deaths to state total deaths. I used total death numbers from Covidusa.net because Louisiana's website has changed which numbers they show in their updates. I haven't found a way to determine how many reported deaths in these categories were confirmed vs probable.
