You say this like you know it as fact when clearly you don't.
For example, Covid-19 can cause a cytokine storm due to the persons immune system response and that can cause multiple and severe organ failures, regardless of underlying issues.

correct, that’s why economy will have to open in phases. I just hope government remembers that the goal has always been to prevent healthcare system from being overrun. Isolate those most at risk, keep some precautions in place, but start opening up.

I didn’t say “frick those people” and that’s not what he was referring to. All I’m saying is that Covid isn’t a virus that attacks or causes heart problems completely on its own.

COVID absolutely causes heart issues. One of the things that the virus does is cause tiny blood clots in the capillaries of the lungs. That puts extra pressure on the right ventricle of the heart to pump the blood through. When Tulane autopsied four people who had died from COVID, they found that one of them had died when his right ventricle had ruptured from the strain.

Apparently, covid causes heart issues, lung issues, brain aneurisms, kidney failure, and liver failure based on the deaths counted in the covid total from our hospital

Sometimes, I just want to scream. We've been unable to do the tests we need due to shortages of nasopharyngeal swabs, and President Trump had to use the friggin Defense Production Act to get more of them made, and now it turns that that is it not necessary to painfully shove a swab all the way to the back of the patient's nose, often making them sneeze and exposing the person taking the sample to the virus.
Not only is it not necessary, those nasopharyngeal swabs don't even work as well as saliva. People could just spit in a test tube that contains a transport medium.

Pretty unbelievable we are 2 months into this in the US and this is just being discovered.

Everyone here always wants to talk about antibody studies, and I certainly understand why.
Switzerland has been hit pretty hard with COVID-19, since it shares a border with the part of Italy that was the original focus of the virus's European invasion. There's a new study out today from Geneva.
Geneva has had 178 deaths to date, so this would imply an infection fatality rate of 0.66%.

The tried and true way of treating symptoms do not always pan out as planned with this virus. That may be the case with every new virus but i don't know.

Is this really super contagious OR is it a matter of more people are actually asymptomatic and spreading it unknowingly??

We keep hearing about testing — what does testing do for someone without symptoms if it’s not antibody testing? I could be tested now and be negative. That doesn’t mean I won’t become infected at some point.

Maybe you should take a break from this board and do some research yourself. These are pretty basic questions, and the answers are routinely addressed during Trump’s press conferences.
