Extortion. They were very agitated by my being there. One refused to identify himself even though he was the leading officer’s backup.

No. He was so aggressive at me, I didn’t want some BS resisting arrest charge put on me. I wanted it on camera that he told me I was free to leave. That’s not being an a-hole to make sure there is no confusion and to cover my arse. I was nice as pie and calm the entire time. I’m the one that de-escalated the situation.
I know cops lie in court.

Depends on where you live I think. But universally, I think we can agree they’re mostly lazy idiots. Where I live, they are pathetic. They said I could do it online. I went in to the precinct, and sh’niqua (who I’m sure scored highest in her class at the academy), basically shoved me out the door, pointed to a flyer on the wall, and said scan dat rite dur.
