My only question about the video is was that actually the cop's property and what was that dude doing there?

From what I can tell is..

It was his property and it had a private drive sign posted at the end of the driveway. Tthe you tube guy went up there under the guise of a "reporter" to "ask questions". It appears that they have had bad interactions before and in my opinion the youtube guy was there only to agitate and cause a scene.

Imagine some fricker from you tube coming on your property a fricking with you while your family is inside...

If that was 2020 or 2021 he could’ve been charged with attempted murder!!!

Ok tough guy. At some point you have to grow up and stop making stupid life decisions.

It’s on video, engaging in toddler behavior doesn’t make things better. Toddlers don’t win because they make emotional decisons and are still developing the skill of understanding likely consequences.

If you’ve made the decision to record video, do not do things on video that could sway a criminal and/or civil jury away from being in your favor.

Everyone is to blame in this, including the beat cops at the end.

Homeowner cop has little man syndrome.
"Independent journalist" relies on "well I'm just an indy journo"

They should just kith and make up.

This is the trash you get in the police force when it sucks to be a cop anyway and your salary is 45k a year.

Cops have been like this forever. We're just seeing it more often now because of all the cameras we have in today's world.

One that comes to mind, although I don't remember his name, is the guy in New York I believe in the 70s and 80s that was dealing drugs, some of which he robbed off other dealers, tipping off other dealers and criminals, taking hits or arranging them, etc etc.

To act like this is something new is foolish at best.

You can't assault people because they knocked on your door. You can tell them to get the frick off your property and then if they don't they are trespassing.

So according to the cop, spitting is not actually an assault. Wonder how many charges will be reversed based on that statement

The prior contact incident was a highly relevant factor in the cop’s response and the “independent journalist” oddly chose to ignore that as being a good reason NOT to go to the cop’s personal residence. That was like pouring gas on a fire. He should have sent another independent journalist.

Well, clearly thats what happened, and resulted in a criminal trespass charge. Him being a state trooper, knew spitting wasnt assault in Conn, so he didnt assault anyone

And lets not pretend like there werent 2 grown men at his door, uninvited, and looking to initiate an altercation, so they can edit and post the video

Sean was there to ask the cop, a desk sergeant, how he made 78k in overtime in a 9 to 5 job. A legitimate question. A sign saying private drive is not the same as no trespassing. But even then, Sean left when the guy told him to leave. Up to that point there was no crime. He was leaving. Cop went inside and came back with a gun and clearly was escalating things while screaming on the phone. Cop is a little pussy.

I've seen the old vids of Sean and this cop going back to 2021. Cop has little man syndrome. You can't brandish a gun and get 2 inches from someone as they are leaving your property after being asked. Only reason Sean was arrested was the thin blue line, and Sean building his case for his forthcoming lawsuit.

Say what you want about 1st amendment auditors, Sean did nothing wrong here

So he was wrong to go there and probably knew it.

I know two wrongs don't make a right but getting spit at is probably the least I would expect to happen to me if I went to someone's house starting shite.

You're just as much of an idiot as Sean. Go to HIS PLACE OF WORK and ask those questions. Don't show up to someone's private residence to "ask questions" when you know you have a history of confrontation from this cop. You can't put yourself into a dangerous situation and then claim you did nothing wrong when things go wrong. You and all these "auditors" are dorks
