Cop knock at 6 AM

Having witnessed a hit and run automobile accident that resulted in property damage and no injuries, I remained at the scene and provided a statement to the responding deputy.
Several weeks later, I am rudely awakened at 6 am by a deputy beating on my door like I am some sort of criminal and served a witness subpoena.
This is unacceptable and yet another incident of LEO showing no respect for the citizens.
