Now, compare the difference in how things were handled with Gustav, and Jindal’s preparedness, and reaction to it, and you’ll see a totally different responsible reaction to a storm to that of his predecessors handling the Katrina debacle
All this storm has to do is jog just ever so slightly east and make a direct hit on NOLA as a Cat 4 hurricane and it’s a completely different ballgame. But not that hurricanes are unpredictable or anything. And you can believe this, no amount of billions spent on flood protection is fool proof in protecting a city below sea level from being overtaken by a wall of water it’s not capable of protecting against. But I guess we’re going to roll the dice just one more time.
