No I believe you are right it does have something to do with being so close to the Mississippi River. But I’ve heard some guys that has been fishing off the Louisiana coast and they say if you go a couple or maybe a few miles out, the water looks as pretty as it does on the Florida panhandle.

Please keep repeating that.
I enjoy parking on the beach. Lighting a fire. And relaxing watching people fish.

This is true and it's actually pretty crazy looking. It's not gradual, you can see the line between the two colors. It goes from diarrhea brown to beautiful blue.

From groundbreaking to opening the Buc-ees in Pass Christian took 21 months to complete.
Same size as Laffy location.

I had heard there was soil issues, but who knows. That spot isn’t the hood, but it’s hood adjacent.

They should have taken soil samples before they started doing dirt work. Someone in Baton Rouge didn’t get their cut and shut it down

Where are they building this thing the swamp under I-10 Spillway Bridge,
When they built the Walmart on 3235 in Galliano in 1995, they built in under a year I believe. Walmart trucked in a ton of sand and dirt and built it on pilings. And the ground conditions back then were terrible and is still sinking now that the South Lafourche area is within a levee system.

Not surprising. Everyone and their mama comes into Lafayette with big plans. Very few can put up with the shittiness of the city and the outstretched hands of the local politicians.
