yet you can't respond on the merits because you know you'll lose.

I can't? More like I don't care to argue with your stupid arse over a satire article. You do a great job outing yourself as a simpleton. You don't need me to help you.

A global pandemic is a compelling government interest to balance against individual constitutional rights for a limited period of time and even a divided SCOTUS would agree unanimously.
Disagree 100%, This will go down as one of the greatest live experiments in mass hysteria.
We will have to agree to disagree that this “pandemic” is “compelling” enough to justify the actions that are taking place.

Ya, no.

Oh, we're going to find this one out for sure. And I don't think it's going to go the way you think it is. Especially considering the government response at the state and local level has been draconian in the extreme.

In terms of how SCOTUS evaluates governments limiting constitutional rights, a global pandemic definitely meets that standard, at least for awhile.

bullshite. When conservatives start showing up for the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth the way they do the First and Second, maybe I'll buy.

I think most people, conservative or liberal, care about the bill of rights and the constitution. There's some differences of opinion in how some should be applied, and both sides are fed outrage bait by their respective media establishments, but i don't believe most people are actively selective about which rights they care and don't care about.

I think we're defining "care about" differently. Conservatives will vote, call, protest, picket over guns and religion. Beyond that, they seem to consider the rest negotiable. While they may care in the abstract, they don't care enough to actually do anything about it.
Keep it up, and I'll come after liberals next

I think that's more cultural conservatives being fear mongered by right wing media into believing their way of life is "under attack" somehow, much more than what you're describing being an earnest thought process about what parts of the constitution matter and which don't.

For the record, you'll never find me accusing either side of the aisle of giving their positions a significant amount of thought. I'm not saying that they have chosen to support some over others; it's simply my experience that they do. The number of times I've heard my conservative family/friends decry "some criminal getting off on a technicality" (read: a flagrant violation of the Constitutional protection against unreasonable search and seizure...) is mind boggling to me.
