I mean if you want to say that there is some 1% or whatever nominal figure chance we faked it then fine. On the whole though there is simply too much evidence from too many independent sources to argue that it didn't happen.
In the same way that there is a chance that the entire world is just a construct of my own mind, and I am just talking to myself right now there is also a philosophical and epistemological chance that the moon landing was faked. Otherwise, no.

I don't harp on it and don't want to get beat down for suggesting it, but on occasion I do wonder "what if we are a product of our own mind, or this is all a dream" or if we are really tiny (hard to explain, but an animal, for example, is huge and the whole world to a mite, but we know the animal the mites are on is a tiny part of earth, so what if we are the mites of the universe?).

No. Apollo 11 actually went to Mars and left the American flag there. Hell, even Sheila Jackson Lee knows this.

that was deserved bad karma for my sassy "morales" comment on the Las Palmas thread

If you truly believe we didn't go to the Moon multiple times then the shoe fits...

Well, then you're stupid and a communist.

We did go to the moon. Some of the video was damaged on the return trip and they reshot some of the video after they were back. You can find images of the set used if you google. It is a situation, once again, where both sides were right.
This is something I can believe happened. Never thought of that.
That would be the simplest explaination for the inconsistencies.
I am NOW on board with the above theory!

For every conspiracy theory, I offer this one simple observation. In my prior life I attended a high level meeting at the US DOJ. We went into the evening and it was decided we would order pizza and work late rather than coming back the next day. It devolved into an hour long argument over what pizza place and what types of pizzas should be ordered.
My point being: Do you truly believe that an incompetent group of government workers could engage in a massive conspiracy AND keep it secret for decades when they can't order pizzas?

Do not try and confirm the landings, that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth...there is no moon. Then you will see it is not the landings are real, it is only yourself.

IMO there's a pretty clear confirmation that we did in fact go that requires no explanations or debating. The Russians, who we were in a fierce space race with at the time, didn't question or debate it.

Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon?

Sorry to admit it, but we DID NOT land on the moon in 1969.
Among other things, a dozen moon-walking astronauts brought back nearly 900 pounds of moon rocks, whose origin and composition are unlike any rocks on Earth.
That's 900 pounds of proof that men did indeed land and walk on the Moon.

Read my comments above on this page. I have now changed my mind.
We landed but faked some of the footage.

I find it awfully suspicious that there was never any talk of the moon prior to the Kennedy regime. Then all of a sudden, everyone wanted to go there? Seems fishy that it just popped up one day.

Remember, Stan Owsley set up shop around that time. There was all kinds of awesome LSD floating around back then.
