The cities down here are just bad and getting worse. I’m also not the guy that wants to be holed up in some suburb in bum frick Egypt.

It’s probably pretty dark but I hear you get good views of the moon.

Lived 20+ years in the upper Midwest, there are some really nice days in the summer but winter sucked floppy donkey dick.

Not my first time living up north but I moved from AZ to Mackinac Island, MI last month and I'm freezing my arse off. It's still snowing at night.

yeah, you'll have some 70 degree days/weeks in April and then it snows again in May. it can be a bit of gut punch.

late June-early September is about as good as it gets though.
