So a lobby they contribute to that spends over $500 million lobbying on behalf of alcohol companies (the biggest proponent of this provision) doesn’t count?

We're past that baw. He has already given the game away. He's a dishonest broker here. He needs to recover or slink away.

This won’t change that at all. Hopefully potheads follow you around blowing clouds at you from now on.

The vape shops sell plenty smokable legal weed too. It’s not all gummies and drinks.

It has no scent.

Russian has a financial incentive to support the ban.
Your substance abuse is causing you to exhibit massive paranoia. And an inability to comprehend written English sentences.

At the risk of your White Knight saying I'm repeating myself, I'll say it again: I don't give a frick if there is a ban on THC or not. I didn't even know there was a THC ban included in the bill until I saw this thread. I just wanted to learn why a ban was included in the CR bill and why the ban is bad.

Nobody on this board could give plausible answers to my questions so I did my own research, which I posted about a few pages ago, and even with the research it remains a bit of mystery to me why congress included the ban in the CR bill at the last hour of deliberations.

And now that MingoIsANoGo tells me the ban has a one year delay before it goes into effect, and it can be reversed during that year, I'm even more confused why there is so much gnashing of teeth on this board about it.

My only logical conclusion is the dope addicts on here, like you and Mingo, are really, really distraught at the idea that their cheap drug supply MIGHT be coming to an end in a year.

Be less emotional, if at all possible. You haven't touched logic in this thread.

Eta
I can sense your tension. I will accept an apology and all will be good. There is no need to be on edge with me.

So why was that British company specifically singled out as an example of the ban being passed? Why not just say the alcohol industry supported the ban and lobbied for it?

Becuase they own the largest distillery in the US and spend millions on things like this. This has been explained. Why won't it register?

Because Cocaine Mitch got paid to do so

Do you think they’re just going to send collectors to rip it off shelves?

Street weed (which I do not buy) is WAY cheaper than these hemp products.

Then why didn't you include that, if it's true, in your first post when you singled that company out or at least after the first time I asked you about that specific company?

You think I am "entangled" in the alcohol industry but the truth is I'd never heard of that company until I read your post. I had to search its name just to learn who that company is, Karen.

That’s exactly what I told you that didn’t deserve a reply

“Jokes on you, I’d never even heard of the shite I’m opining on and calling everyone else an idiot!”

You’re embarrassing yourself

I overestimated your abilities. I assumed you were sincere in your curiosity and gave you what I thought was enough for an intelligent person to figure it out from there.

I was so wrong. It legit sucks to learn you're basically a slightly more educated Roger.

No, but I thought the effective date of enforcement might a whole lot sooner than a fricking year!

30 days, maybe? 90 days? That would allow the retailers to burn through their inventory and not be able to re-order just to get stuck with a lot of un-sellable (legally) inventory.

You really don't think very well. Your entire goal in posting on this board is to try and come up with "gotcha's."

Nah, your brain is just too fogged to have thought it through.

You are an extremely weak communicator.

You really need to work on improving that...

No you didn't. But if it makes you feel better about yourself to believe that then I'll just feel sorry for you and let it go.
