At least we believe everything should be done to make it easier for Americans to vote, not harder in order to suppress the vote of people who might not vote for them like conservatives do.

People living in poverty with no access to reliable transportation will have a very difficult time acquiring an ID.

Black people are more likely to live in those conditions.

Conservatives are the ones with a low opinion of black people because they believe that it's entirely black people's fault that they are more likely to live in poverty and refuse to acknowledge the effect institutionalized racism, discriminatory housing practices, etc, have had on the black community.

And as if that total lack of compassion and understanding wasn't enough, conservatives feel the need to go the extra mile by convincing their low information voters that illegal votes are swaying elections (which is just straight up false) all as part of a ruse to enact voter ID laws that are meant solely to make it harder for poor people, who are more likely to be minorities, to vote.
