Depends on if that group includes several scantily clad, attractive ladies.

Love the douche bags who set up at 6 am then head upstairs and don’t come down until 10 am

That's what I do, but it's in front of my family's house and I do it to keep the peasants from the condos next door from setting up in our spot because they're too cheap to rent chairs from the condo.

I can't imagine going to a beach with that many people on it.
That "beach" looks absolutely miserable and is probably full of the infamous Louisiana 80K millionaires.

If tide allows, you can set up in front of rental chairs.

If you come to the beach and throw down towels at 6 am and don’t come to beach until 10, I’m certainly moving your shite the next day if I need your spot. First come(and stay)/first serve. Rent a chair if you want a reserved spot.

other than “scenery”, I have never gotten the allure of a beach.

That looks miserable. The gulf coast beaches are so overrun that it’s not even fun anymore.

My $6.99 Disney towel has been moved 4 feet. One or both of us is going to jail/the morgue.

We’re in a condo with 17 people, 6 toddlers...of course this is not ideal

That explains things a bit. I own a 3 bedroom at Orange Beach. Furniture there seems to only lasts about 2 years. Had to drive there unscheduled a couple of weeks ago after the management company called and said an obese couple broke the bed, frame and headboard. I’m not sure which was worse, trying to find a store with furniture in stock or erasing the mental images of what was going on in my bed. Had just replaced the living room furniture two years ago and it was trashed. Had to replace it too.

that is the beach equivalent of a house full of rooms to go. shoot me, if that's the best there is. kids crying, rednecks smoking and free bird playing.

we anchor on the bay side of johnson beach and walk over to the gulf. sometimes we go all day without seeing anyone within a 1/4 or more. never hear sweet home alabama or smell smoke.
