Michael Fellows of Brooklyn and Jonathan Hadden of the Bronx bought tickets for Madonna's Dec. 13 "Celebration" tour concert at Barclays Center.
The tickets said the show would begin at 8:30 p.m., but Madonna did not take the stage until sometime after 10:45 p.m., according to the lawsuit, and the men said they were "confronted with limited public transportation, limited ride-sharing, and/or increased public and private transportation costs" by the time the show let out at 1 a.m.

i hope they get 5 times the ticket price back from this.
she was under contract to provide a set service at a set time, slight delays can happen, but being 2+ hours late was an intentional level of DGAF on her part

I can promise you that buying a concert ticket does not enter into a contract of any sort.

She needs to be sued for being a heathen and a destructor of society.

Saw her at Minute Maid park many years ago and she started 2 hours late.
Diva level off the charts, but it was an awesome show

I am not well acquainted with Brooklyn, but I find it difficult to believe they couldn't get transportation in a borough of NYC, even on a Wednesday night. Has COVID really changed the city that never sleeps that much?

My biggest pet peeve about concerts. Just start when you say youre going to start.

It’s a volume issue. After midnight, you shift from “evening” schedules to “late night” schedules, so there are fewer trains running. Usually not really an issue as people go out and come home at all hours. But if a large event unexpectedly lets out after midnight, you could end up with a situation in which people have to wait for multiple trains, all of which are arriving less frequently than they would have during an earlier time schedule.
It’s not the end of the world, but imagine how happy you would be waiting potentially for hours for a train during December in New York.

Above ground transportation would be far more difficult that time of night.
The subways which were awesome 10–15 years ago are full of homeless and illegals. Very dangerous

Is an uber or cab out of the question here? There’s other ways of transportation available.
