Back when the PIIGS were about to implode I think their unemployment rate was like 25%

I just looked it up and their youth unemployment rate is almost 35%

Europe has a ton of bad economies that are protecting older workers. I think the only reason Italy's is so low is b/c of how bad COVID was there.

Looks like Spain and Greece are really raising the EU rate.

Southern Europeans have a reputation for making industry and production a low priority in their daily lives.

Correct which doesnt show real unemployment.

Real unemployment is most likely over 50% in the native villages, but the official stats look much lower. Its because most of the people there don't look for, nor want to work.

You honestly think only 3.5% of working age people in LA arent working?

It’s happened more than once in at least the past 30 years.

The government has also meddled with the inflation formula to make that number look better than it is. They’ve removed things that actually hit people like food costs.

More recently, the definition of the word “vaccine” was changed so the COVID mRNA shots would be included in the definition.
