Seriously tho, fresh ground fresh beans will make you wonder why you cheaped out on coffee for so long.
It's a game changer. I can still drink cheap stuff without complaint, but the difference is enormous once you've done it the right way.
I bought a cheap kitchen scale and weigh the fresh beans, grind them, put in french press, put french press on scale and pour kettle water in to proper coffee grind/water ratio. Sounds like a lot, but it takes 30 seconds and makes the best fricking coffee.
15 g coffee / 250 g water - just keep that ratio, that's about one mug. Everyone morning I make 45 g coffee / 750 g water.

My FIL settles any kind of debate about any food or drink brand with, “Whatever is cheapest, doesn’t matter to me because it all tastes the same.”
He only drinks tea and salts the hell out of anything he eats, so I believe he has few to no taste buds.

I’m too lazy; I grind the beans the night before and have the drip machine set to have the pot brewed when I wake up. My palate isnt that discerning.

Get out of here with your metric units…
BTW, what are the imperial conversions to those measurements.

Still a great option if ratios are right. I just like the natural oils that filters in drips and pour overs remove. But your coffee is still likely 10x better than pre-ground national brands.

Drug dealers use grams, buying drugs in college 25 years ago was my official training

Oh for sure. I drink it black and it’s immensely superior to preground Costco/members mark options. My wife has nearly cut out all of the sugar she had needed to drink that stuff. I do need to try a non-paper filtered option tho.

Lifelong Community drinker. When we moved to Iowa, I could not find it anywhere, so have had to resort to ordering on Amazon. Which I gladly do…..

1. Buy a burr grinder
2. Buy coffee from a local roaster or from a grocery store that stocks them with an actual “roasted on” date a month or two old at the most.
3. Grind fresh and brew.
4. ???
5. Profit
Seriously tho, fresh ground fresh beans will make you wonder why you cheaped out on coffee for so long
100%
It makes a world of difference and I'm always trying new stuff although I keep a go to brew on hand

Yeah I still use my ninja even after grinding my own beans . I realize there's better ways but it works.
I use the metal reusable filter rather than paper ones tho

CC, and nothing else is even close.
CC is top shelf lower end coffee.
You have no idea what you're missing out on if you think CC is elite.

I rotate between the two because I get burned out on both.
They both serve their purpose, and neither is thread worthy.
