I don’t have to click on the link because I am a fan of free speech comedy where almost no joke goes to far, but playing the white devil’s advocate. What if this joke wasn’t about Cajuns but another minority group?
They would be ready to throw him in Free Speech Jail. They would force all the scheduled venues and force them to cancel. Then they would force to apologize. Even after apologizing he would be essentially banned on the comedy circuit.
Some people just need to lighten up it is only comedy. And comedy is a two way street, we just need a few more brave conservative comics launching some comedic salvos back at the liberals.

That was mildly entertaining. I look forward to him offering his observations on black and Hispanic people next. He may just want to work his way through all groups. Maybe he could start with the LBTGHQ'ers.

It doesn’t matter to me what he says but imagine the uproar if he made the same jokes about Mexican Americans. There would be mayhem in the streets on college campuses across the country.

See this is not true. Tom did a show at JP’s bar in Lafayette about 3-4 years ago. After the show, a drunk baw cornered him and wouldn’t stop talking. This is the basis of the joke.
