Really good stand-up comedian, funny as hell . Not well known outside of the south I think. But he was very funny I've seen him 5 or 6 times and he got better every time.

Damn. I like James.

He nearly died several years ago and wound up in a rehabilitation (health not drugs) for a while. He's looked terrible for the past few years.

He rarely wrote new material, but he was damn good at telling stories and jokes he had.

Dang... he was a great storyteller. Hate to hear it. Not surprised, given the way he's looked recently, but still hate to hear it.
