I have seen these before, but they are really good. Brings a touch of realness to the era. Most people don't read. Very few can read and actually visualize what happened. Eventually it turns into a fable. But colorized pictures keeps it human/mortal. Find the one of Louis Powell after he was captured, and on a boat to face his accusers. He looks like a college kid today.

I love these pictures, but at the same time I love the nostalgia of old sepia photographs.
I had some old photographs of ancestors from the late 1800’s colorized but ultimately kept the originals out. Same with some monochrome WW1 pictures my grandfather had taken and WW2 pictures I have from my dad.
