I'm here now. The weather isn't bad and it's clean. Plus there isn't a Gary Chambers. Pumped on that note.

I don't partake. However I have found a lack of Budweiser here.

If you don't like cold weather it can be a bitch.
Otherwise, there are tons of outdoors activities. The downtown has more to do than BR's. While you are far from the culture of New Orleans, Denver has some hippies that will entertain, and they won't even kill you.

Cons-A bunch of religious folks compared to the rest of the state. Not close to skiing(2hrs). Military folk.
Compared to BR? I guess it costs a lot more but it's worth it. We always to people from the south who are looking to move here that you will have less but do more. If having nice car and nice house is important to you then stay where you are. If doing shite is your bag then come on up.

If I could do it I would leave two weeks ago.
Living up there, as others have said, you get to actually do stuff.
There is literally an activity for you do partake in every season change. Whereas in LA where most activities take place in the summer on water and kind of come to a halt during the winter(with the exception of hunting).
No humidity is another huge plus.
I miss living up there.

It's very nice and we are glad we made the move. It's cold but not miserable. It's actually pretty nice. There's a lot to do and a lot of great hiking and scenery. I don't foresee a circumstance where we ever move back down there.

Visited C Springs a few times since moving to Colorado. Seems like a great place to be. Football games at the academy are cool.

How the hell is this even a decision? There isn't one Louisiana city worth avoiding Colorado for.
