Pros: A lot of outdoor activities year round.
No humidity
Has more days of sun year round than any in the USA
Right on the front range so you have constant views of the majestic mountains
Cons: Very little culture
Mostly chain restaurants
If you're single, not a great place to be..the nightlife is very weak

I have family there. Beautiful area. Lots of military folk. The chefs in the Japanese hibachi restaurants are Mexicans. When u walk in the yell hey esse! No crawfish but plenty of fresh air. Go for it.

That's definitely a pro.
Pros:
Clean air, clean water, good climate, no bugs, lots of outdoor activities, great breweries, 2 hr. drive to skiing, salt life stickers are rare.
Cons:
Almost anywhere else on the Front Range is better. On the trashy side relative to the rest of CO. The oysters are kind of weird.

If you carefully study the various quality of life rankings/ratings between the two states (I assume you are in Louisiana?) the choice is obvious. What do you prioritize in your life? Consider northern Colorado as well. Fort Collins is pretty cool.

It's fundy ground zero, if that matters to you one way or another. Lots of religious right organizations are headquartered there. CS isn't a bad place, but if I was moving to Colorado, I'd be looking at one of the mountain towns or the Western Slope. The Front Range is basically a continuous suburb/exurb stretched out along the Interstate. Nice scenery, but too many people.
